BIOGRAPHY
JUSTIN KEVIN CHEN is a native of the Los Angeles area and earned his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. While at Pepperdine Law, MR. CHEN served as the Literary Citation Editor for the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary as well as Chair of the Armand Arabian Advocacy Tournament Chair under Pepperdine Law’s Moot Court Board.
Before joining, MR. CHEN clerked at two midsize, plaintiff-side employment law firms where he worked alongside attorneys specialized in personal injury, auto-accident, class action, environmental law, and California Voting Rights Act cases. In college, he interned at the predecessor to WILLIAMS WOLLITZ HAKAKIAN PC in Century City, where he assisted the legal team on estate planning, general business litigation matters, as well as healthcare provider recovery actions.
MR. CHEN has internship experience in immigration law as well - - specifically with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service’s EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. MR. CHEN also worked on translations with one of the founding partners of the firm, SHEL LYTTON, in obtaining foreign investment for MR. LYTTON'S Avensole Winery in the Temecula Valley. MR. CHEN is bilingual, being fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
Prior to law school, MR. CHEN received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he majored in Political Science.
MR. CHEN resides on the Palos Verdes Peninsula with his fiancée.
